How much do I have to contribute?
12,00 Euro per night
3,00 Euro membership-card (valid for the current year) and sheets (for the period of use)
How can I make a reservation?
1. write an e-mail to hostel@oikos.org, indicating:
- name
- gender
- nationality
- date of arrival/departure, number of nights
- number of persons2. After having received the answer that there are still places free, you have to make the contribution for your stay in advance for having a reservation (details you'll receive by e-mail).
We do not refund money if you don't keep your reservation.
Do I have to make the contribution in advance?
If you want to make a reservation at Oikos hostel Rome, you have make the contribution for your stay in advance (send an e-mail to hostel@oikos.org for details). After we have transferred the money, you will receive a message that your reservation has been accepted.
If you don't need to reserve, you can just call us after having arrived in Rome.Our number: 0039-06-5081972
I don't have a credit-card. Can make the contribution in another way?
After having received the answer, that there are still places free, you can also make a deposit in our bank (12,00 Euro per night per person + 3,00 Euro per person for the membership-card and for the sheets), and fax (# 0039-06-5073233) us a copy of the reiceipt.

How much time in advance can I make a reservation?
You can make your reservation 2-3 weeks in advance.
Do I need to reserve a place?
If you want to be sure to have a place, it's better to make a reservation.
Otherwise you can just call us after having arrived in Rome, whether you still find place. Our number: 0039-06-5081972
Do I need a membership-card?
You need a membership-card, which costs 3,00 Euro and is valid for the current year.
Is my International Youth Hostel card valid?
Oikos hostel Rome is independent, so you need the membership-card of our hostel, which costs 3,00 Euro and is valid for the current year.
How will I be accommodated?
You will be accommodated in cubicles with locks for 1, 2 and 3 persons or in rooms for 4 persons.
Is breakfast included?
We do not serve breakfast, there are, however, several possibilities nearby where you can have cheap breakfast.
Which services are offered?
The use of the showers (hot) and of the swimming-pool are free. In addition, you can use the free ADSL internet connection at Oikos hostel Rome.
Is there lock-out? When can I check-in?
There is a lock-out from 12.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.,
Check-in: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.
