  • 2) Urgent: National Media seek courageous parent of drug-free child labeled  'bipolar':
A major national media outlet has contacted MindFreedom. To have both sides of a story, they are urgently searching for a parent to interview.
Please read the following criteria. If there is an *exact* match, e-mail
details and contact info *soon* to news@mindfreedom.org :
Criteria: The parent must have a child between ages of 6 to 17 who
has been labeled by a mental health professional as "bipolar," but
the family has chosen NOT to use any psychiatric drugs, or has tried but
    abandoned all psychiatric drugs.

    3) "Creative revolution in healing " full:
The MindFreedom conference/retreat in July about creating
alternatives to the conventional mental health system has reached
capacity for general admission two months before the event. MFI no
longer has space for regular registration.
The conference planning committee is looking into ways for a few more
people to attend by staying at a local motel. Watch the MindFreedom web site for announcements about that. For those who registered very recently you will be notified about your status. See the web MFI site for more info and updates.
Info about the MFI conference/retreat is here:
