APPEAL OF "THE MOTHERS OF PLAZA DE MAYO"

Dear comrades,

A delegation of the association "Madres de Plaza de Mayo" (mothers of people disappeared during the military dictatorship), consisting of the president of the association, Mrs Hebe de Bonafini and the lawyer Dr. Sergio M. Schoklender, will arrive in London on Wednesday, November 4, to present a formal demand to the House of Lords and the British Government to grant the extradition of Pinochet.

The delegation will arrive in London on Wednesday with the British airlines at 11 a.m.

The Mothers need:

1. That this information will be spread by means of press all over Europe, especially in England.
2. That as much as possible contacts with members of parliament and ministers will be arranged, in order to receive the delegation.
3. That all friends and political restraint organisations convene in order to support this move of the "Madres de Plaza de Mayo".
4. That all appropriate suggestions will be carried out.

This is an important effort for the Mothers, yet we think that it's essential to take before he gets free. The possibility to extradite Pinochet to Spain helps that one day we'll succeed in extraditing the rest of people committing genocide.

For the only fight really lost is the one abandoned. Never a step backwards!
