The hostel is called 'San Nicola' because it was a convent (built in 1284). The building
is divided into 3 parts: the hostel, a restaurant and an environmental education centre
with the aim of promoting sustainable tourism in this zone.
The hostel is in the historic part, overlooking the sea - Circeo and the Pontine Islands.
The hostel can accommodate 50 people in double rooms, family rooms or dormitories for 4-8
people (bunk beds) with adjoining bathrooms.
Food (which is organic, as far as possible) is served in the restaurant (or in the garden,
in the summer).
In the gothic church underneath the building, there are large rooms available for
conferences, meetings, parties etc.
It is anticipated that the hostel will be open all year round.
