Spinaceto
This suburb of Rome has got his name for the numerous spinach fields located there at the beginning of this century.
It is one of the first suburbs in Rome
that has been construed in a modern way. The buildings are
surrounded by parks and gardens, there's neither traffic nor are
there problems with parking. It's a secure place without
criminality, you can walk alone in the night without any problem.
There are several markets and shops for
shopping. You can find both, supermarkets and traditional Roman
markets where you can find fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese,
bread, soap etc.
There are two markets close to our
hostel, which are open 4 days a week. There you can buy cloth and
a lot of other things at a very low price.
You can also go shopping in one of the
4 commercial centres, where the prices can be lower than those in
the City.
